I don't like to use Firefox in Linux...I hate the fonts.

Anyways, I am trying to get rid of the most annoying thing web browsers have put in as of late. That being, autocomplete (or whatever it is) when the computer drops a list of options for what you are typing in...say, google.

Like I type something that starts in a G, it gives me a 20 subject list of everything I have typed that begins with G before.

Really really annoying, how do I turn it off?

I have cleared all of the private data, and the cache, cookies and whatnot from the browser...but this still stays.

hmmm... I havn't used kde in a while, I use gnome. You may want to seach linuxquestions.org or kde forums if there are some. Also check the help file, that may tell you.

You can change the fonts firefox uses when you go to prefrences, general, fonts. I am sure you can add more too.

Well, I tried to change the fonts and they all just don't look good.

I have been used to using Times New Roman so everything else just doesn't look good.

Konquerer is the only thing that does.
