Question Cannot apply my native resolution

Greetings everyone,

I'm currently running Lubuntu with nVidia's GPU (Geforce 9500 GT) and I can't set my screen's native resolution. I tried using both legacy and binary drivers. When I try to set custom resolution via nVidia X server settings VIewPortOut always keeps changing to current resolution. I can set ViewPortIn & ViewPortOut but not the ViewPortOut. What's the occasion for this behaviour?

I posted the same thing on AskUbuntu but it got bump'd after a few days.
