Hello friends,
keep cool and give me a rope to climb up.

How faaar does mulinux enable one to run linux from
DOS ? what is the memory consumption ? is it possible
to have one EXE that when executed from DOS comes up
with the Mulinux ? Is it possible to have linux on
DOS through running an application ? Can Mulinux
Image be loaded and executed from within DOS to come
up with the Mulinux SHell prompt ?

Here is the scenario:
I have a system with DOS. I want an exe that will
turn the dos environment into linux or just boots
linux and comes up with the shell prompt.
Is it possible to convert some certain areas of DOS
into linux by some tools. Is it possible ? Does any geek have
one ?

I would like to know the memory consumed by zipslack.
could it be used in conditions of 2 MB(embedded
environment) where i could switch from DOS into Linux
on my handheld using zipslack.

Else, let me know some linux versions that run from
DOS environment along with the memory consumed by
them. I do not need the Xwindow support at present.

Is there any Linux variants in such format ?
Or is there any DOS executable that turns the
environment into linux or just provides me with a
shell prompt that supports some basic linux commands ?

I would like info on the following :-
That is, an exe that will turn itself into linux on
getting executed from DOS environment.

I found the following article but could not trace it
to linux equivalent !! Has anyone tried a DOS exe that turns
itself into Linux environment or Linux itself on
execution. Is there
any ready-made variants available on the net or with
anyone ??
