Default Booting issue

Being stupid, I deleted my XP partition from a drive, leaving my Vista partition un-bootable. When I try to boot off the hard disk, I get an "ntldr is missing" error.

I do not have the vista install disk. Is there any way to either repair/replace vista's bootloader or add vista to Ubuntu's GRUB, while in Ubuntu?

Default Re: Booting issue

You cant fix a BCD error using Ubuntu. You can add Vista to the GRUB loader with a edit to the menu.lst file.
