Best Linux.

Im looking for the best Linux Live download.

A Linux CD you can boot off of and use it to delete Files on a Harddrive.

Mainly for Spyware and Virus cases.

Any suggestions.

Knoppix or Ubuntu as far as live CDs are concerned. I would go Knoppix.

The best way to learn is do it, aside from help installing and getting my internet working it was mostly experimenting with thing until they worked. I am still getting used to Linux, but that is how you learn best

gentoo....optimized for whatever system you install on, probaly the fastest one and best that I can think of..but it really depends on what your doing really.

where can this version of knoppix be found.. i am another noob entering linux and would like to learn this program to scan/delete viruses. i see this to be big jump in experience.. has anyonelse done this...

well i got it on cd but i try to boot it and no dice... i put the iso on the cd.. did i have to put the other files in the cd too?? what does iso mean? i dont suppose International Organization for Standardization.. would be the correct answer..
