I have found out whats doing it... Again... Windows Live Sign In assistant was REINSTALLED with out MSN being installed, it's as if windows is forcing it to install... I haven't bothered trying to access the Win7 rig via ubuntu since my previous post, I just took my controller and all my drives and moved them to an ancient XP box, but yea. Windows Live is really starting to get to me.
BTW, these issues, well they have only been around since maybe august, and slowly it's starting to get around the few ubuntu forums I have checked out that it's infact that sign in assistant that's installed, but, my issue now, is not the whole networking thing, it's the fact that Win7 and that program seem to love each other so much, that they refuse to seperate.
This thread can be closed as the issue, is somewhat resolved, atleast with the ubuntu end, thanks Jayce, I will be creating a different thread in the windows section reguarding that stupid software.
