ATI driver question

im still pretty new to linux but i was wondering if any one knew if the ATI drivers support the X1950pro yet? as when i google it i read reviews sayigng it does but on the at site it doesnt say it does... thanks

OK, apparently there's a hack that lets you use fglrx with the X1950. Very clever.

so if i do this, it will work? i tried one before that jsut crashed my Xserver and being new t linux i was lost with no GUI so i reinstalled.

i still dont get how to actually sudo to desktop though =/ lol i am real new to linux.

also when i type "su" i get this :

considering 99% of everything i know about computers is windows based yeah it is lol.

so how do i sudo to desktop then? i did type the correct password before anyone asks lol
