Accessing linux partition

Not that I am aware of. The easyest thing to do is create a FAT32 partition which both Linux and Windows can access with ease.
 
Yes, but in RO. RW support is included, aparently, but seeing as how its expiramental, RO is set by default so you don't kill Windows.

FAT32 support is stable. RW is fine for FAT32.
NTFS write support is stable as well in the latest kernels. I don't know in what version it was marked stable.
