Instead of just putting "Microsoft Office", bulk it out by saying you have advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook ( HUGE ONE ), power point...etc... same basic statement but a lot more specific.

put it this way...
In a resume they might just hit Ctrl+F and search for "Outlook knowledge". So as you can see, if you only put office... outlook won't come up. Do you see what im getting at ?

I knew your resume would crush mine haha. Thanks I feel alot better!! Guess the trick is making what little you have on your resume look very attractive.

I apologize I honestly didn't have any intent of trying to crush you.

But yes, that is the trick...making the little look attractive. Think like this, how can you stand out among all the rest?? Sometimes it is just layout and not wording...because usually a recruiter will only skim your resume for particular keywords...if you can make it an easy read for the recruiter then you are ahead of the competition. You always want to put emphasis on the Job Title or Job Position...the job description usually is left unread by the recruiter but it helps them to take note that you have knowledge of the job...so it is good to have. Your objective should be clear and at the top so the recruiter will know what you are looking for. Don't over do it on your resume....don't provide a lot of fluff...if you have no basic knowledge or experience with a particular product, application, or technology then do not include it, because it looks bad when you go to an interview and do not have a clue about what they are talking about. The employer isn't the only one looking for the perfect fit....you also are looking for the perfect fit....so try to make your resume as targeted as possible. When someone contacts you then it should be for a job that you can definitely do and do well because your resume SCREAMS that you know the job! No one should contact you for a job you don't have any knowledge of. Well, you do get those awkward calls from time to time, but you get my point.

haha not a problem man. Im 19 anyway, i can only have so much experience in the passed 3 years ive been legally able to work right? One thing I defnitly need is an objective, i'll write that.
