Thesis Ideas?

I am doing a B-IT and enrolling in Honors for next year and have no idea what to do a Thesis on! I am skilled and interested in most areas of IT such as Security, Programming (most languages), All Web, E-commerce and Multimedia (Graphics PS & Flash), Databases & Networking. I need some ideas please if you can think of any! Probably nothing extremely technical such as engineering and maths, other than that I am open to suggestions.

Write a thesis on the need for data security. Why it is critical to maintain your backups, folder access, user account permissions, etc.
