yes in the wrong spot and Cat6 has 8 total wires, not 6

This wont be cat 6 network cable. This is telephone cable that needs to be terminated into a rj12. You may be able to use an rj45 and leave the last two slots free but I'm not sure if this would work - worth a test! If your attempting to use this with information outlets you'd have to look up the rj12 alternative.

It's not even telephone cable as that would be Cat3 in most instances, which typically requires Blue and WhiteBlue... The cable appears to be a proprietary cable.
