Passed Comptia LX0-101

800/800 on the first exam. I've been using the Sybex complete study guide and Testout, but for the older XK0-002 exam. It still works. I'll take 102 in about 1 1/2 weeks. After that they'll give me Linux+, LPIC-1 and Novell CLA certs since its a two part test now. It questons both RPM and DEB. Majority was commands then system architecture and some package management.

Took LX0-102 today and passed 790/800. I messed up a "cron job" question which I was iffy on. Anyone looking to take Linux+ just know you GNU commands and location of configuration files. There are some fill in the blanks. Understanding networking is helpful too.

I was thinking about going Sec+ or Server+. What do you guys think? I eventually want to get my Red Hat certs, but that is going to be a little ways away.

Congrats on the great scores.
You shouldn't need to know the location of the actual crontab file.
~crontab -l #to list the jobs
~crontab -e #to edit the jobs

I had that question. I did get that one right. I think I got the easier one wrong lol. I think I'm going to continue w/ learning more in depth Samba, Apache and Security+.
