So I got a call yesterday at 6:00 pm that my contract with my current employer has expired aka I lost my job. I was a contract worker and had been for 16 months which I know is way too long but I had been searching for jobs during this time. Am I eligible for unemployment who do I contact for this. What should I do first. I tried contacting the recruiter but have not heard back yet....
