Job interview fail!

an OU is just a container for objects, objects being any SG, DL, computer, user, printer, and contacts for exchange (of course DCs and servers as well).

basically a structure, which helps to easily maintain your domain with a clear view of your objects and apply policies to certain OUs and allow certain services to get permission to certain objects it needs to perform its job, things like exchange and bitlocker. AND of course manage/ troubleshoot end-user accounts.

Might of missed a thing or two but if you remember the above youll be fine!
