I am really interested in pursuing a career in technology. I will start with getting a certificate but was interested in knowing what is the best recommendation to start working in the field as quickly as possible after my certification training from Cisco.

Once you finish your certificate try to get an entry level job. Experience is key in IT, and the more you have of it the better off you will be.

If you have the ability to get a part-time job at a PC repair shop while you are getting your certification I would suggest doing that. Then once you have your certification and some experience you can land a decent job in IT.
