Has anyone heard of Prof. Messers free A+ training?

I haven't heard of it, but wouldn't cheap out on something like this. I would be worried they would be asking obsolete questions or ones from older exams. When training for an exam I wouldn't rely on something you stumbled upon for free.

IMO your best bet is to suck it up and purchase a book for 70 or so dollars.

Ya I've got lots of books so no sucking up required I'm just always looking for extra stuff so that I don't rely on a few sources and by that I mean DVD's which if I could afford I'd purchase all the current meyers ones, at least I heard there not bad. What would you recommend? Oh I'm studying for the Essentials and 602.

I would suggest Mike Meyers. I have his latest book on the 600 exam and it was a great book. Not only does he give you great examples, but also has one of the longest video tutorials i've run into in a training book thus far.

Don't forget you have to take two exams, the essentials then one other one (either the depot, remote, or IT technician).
