Description:
Deciding whether a job might be right for you is partly a matter of instinct, but you need to gather more than impressions. To make an informed decision, you need to learn as much as possible about the IT department, the position, the company and its managers, and the employees you'd be working with. By asking the questions on this list, you'll get a sense of how well you'd fit in and whether the position is a good match for your skills and personality. This list includes questions like:

Can you describe a typical day in this role?
What technologies have you implemented?
What are the personal growth opportunities (such as leadership training, company-supported community work, and mentoring)?
Could you describe the work culture (do people work overtime, etc.)?

Yeah I think a lot of people who post here think of these IT jobs as fun and interesting for them but have never really had any experience with ANYONE in them to know for sure.
