Seems like the higher in math you go it's more memorization of formulas and what to do. I just don't really like that, I can see normal algebra as being useful in everyday life. But engineering needs all of the higher stuff.
Well, my initial impression from my Calculus class was just that it was a bunch of random crap, but now that I've finished one course and am onto the second, the real life applications of it are actually pretty cool.
