I am curious about something...

Does anyone know how to become a Dell Service Technician?

Does Dell provide their own technicians, or do they contract out their services?

I know they offer certification, but I have been unable to find information on who they use as technicians.

If anyone has information on this topic, please help!

Thanks.

Dell has the Warranty Support Technician position and they hire regular PC technicians but they prefer those who have Dell Certifications, although it's not required. You can take the training once they hired you. This is a job post I found at www.computerjobs.com in the area of NYC on May 16th, 2006:
