Hey!
Is it possible to get CompTIA+ or Cisco CCENT certification at age 15? I'd like something to serve as a "fallback" plan just in case, and I plan on making a side business as well someday. Would this be worth the time and money? Or, what do you think I should do?

A lot of people get A+ or Net+ when they're younger because they're fairly easy to get. CCNA is much more difficult (not sure if there's an age restriction or not, but I don't think so). Takes a lot of studying, and the tests are expensive. Almost nobody passes on their first try, as well.

If I get the creditation, what would I do with it? It's a lot to pay for only bragging rights!

It's mainly so you can get jobs easier if you're in a competitive environment. So unless you're looking for a job, you may want to hold off on getting any certification because you have to re-take tests to get re-certified after a certain amount of time.

A+ is easy, I just did it.

You can pass with a few days of doing some practice tests.

To get an entry level pc position yes most PC tech jobs pay 10 dollars an hour.

By CE you mean continuing education credits?

It's probably just easier to take the next level exam (or another approved vendor certification) which then renews your A+. It also keeps you moving forward with your skills.
