Colleges for MicroE Engineering

Hey guys, this is my first post here

I'm a junior in high school in Seattle, so I've got time to consider colleges and look into them.

I really want to major in Micro-Electronic Engineering. I'm very interested in working with IC's and have a passion for talking with my uncle who works in the field.

I'm just wondering if any of you know any good colleges that offer a degree in MicroE. I'm trying to stay West Coast, but whatever it takes to get the degree, I'm willing to do.

I've been looking at RIT, and they seem like they've got a good program.

Yes, RIT does . Infact I recommend going there, but MIT and you may look at WPI's program also if you have the grades.

I am kind of interested in this field also, maybe you could share some of your knowledge you have learned from your uncle. I wonder if the photon architecture would fit into the field of micro electronic engineering.
