Certification path what is best

I have seen a lot of talk on certifications but I wanted to findout what would be the best cert to start out with? I am thinking A+ then the MTA and work my way through the 98-366,98-367,98-365 then MCTS exam 72-642, and exam 72-640. I had also considered the security + and Network + certifications to go along withit. I guess I am trying to figure out if the path I am wanting to take is a good one or should I go in a different direction. My goal is to eventually be Network/system Administrator. I am 3 months away from my associates degree and plan on taking the bachelor's degree. Any constructive advice will be appreciated.

If you are intending to be a network admin you may want to consider getting the ccna, ccnp, ccie, etc. Cisco is where it's at with networking.

My advice is A+>Net+>CCNA (if you get some experience in there while working on the certs) and then go from there. Your goals will likely change as you gain more exposure and get more hands on in the field.
