Hello everyone,

I have takes A+ and network+ certifications. I have started working at helpdesk support. I want to be a Network/systems engineer. What certification should I take?

Should I go with Windows server 2012 or CCNA ?

Please suggest

Both are great paths - really depends on what you like. Server and networking are definitely related, but they are completely different paths.

CCNA focus's on core networking, switching, subnetting, etc while server touches on those topics but focus's more on DHCP, DNS, VPN, ect.

i would guess ccna would be required by more jobs. i think recruiter will require experience and higher level certs to prove competence in Windows Server.
