Hey guys,

I'm a Senior at UNC Chapel Hill, and I'm working on a class project involving the IT Industry/CCNA certification process.

I'm trying to understand how individuals currently begin researching the CCNA exam, and how they study for it. Does anyone have any suggestions for the top 3 places on the internet a person would go to find out more info about an IT career / job and why?

I appreciate any and all of your help! Thanks :)

while getting my associates degree, the school had me complete cisco's ccna courses 1-4. I was young and didn't follow through with acheiving the cert. However, now I regret it. I think it would be best to complete cisco's 1-4 and then follow this up with a week long boot camp from an IT training provider. I would not expect to pay less than 1500 on the boot camp. I think Global Knowledge is a great training provider.

Tech republic has a great career section. I think Informationweek is career focused and dicusses current trends. HDI or Robert Half may have something as well.
