I'm 15 and I think an A+ certification will help my chances at getting a job at Fry's (http://outpost.com/ people from CA know this place). Do you think that this is a good age to get started, i have fairly good knowledge of both the software and hardware portions and I've looked over the objectives from compTIA and I'm sure i could pass it.

Start with the A+. Do you have your own personal feeling yet of what direction you want to head? If not.....A+ is still a good place to start. If so.....A+ is still a good place to start.

A+>Network+>Server+>Security+ Then anything else like Cisco and Microsoft stuff.

Obviously you don't HAVE to do all of them, But if you have the money and are willing to study then IMO its just another thing to tack onto your resume.

thanks, i just need A+ to get a good paying job before college.

I highly Doubt you will Get Hired on the certificate alone, Experience holds more weight then Someone with just one certification.

But Gl anyways.

jonmon6691, relax man....you are fine.

Always think of it this way.....take your age and ALWAYS BE ABLE TO MAKE YOUR AGE.

So, If you are 15....if you are making 15k, thats ok.........chill out man.
