How many people are planning on upgrading (to R700 or G200)?

I can't afford new gen. Heck, I can't afford to build a new rig. I am hoping to possibly snag a new GFX card... maybe a 9600.
 
You forgot RV770. R700 is a dual core RV770...

I might end up with 1, 2 or even 3 4870's.... (3 if I go with a triple monitor setup, which would depend more on money than anything else)

I'm hoping the Thermalright HR-03 GT's will fit on the 4870's (I've got one on each of my 3870's)
It should be likely to work, since RV770 is not a big die (G80 and R600 required different cooling, because they were big and power hungry)
the HR-03 Plus (same as HR-03 GT, but different mounting) was able to cool the G80 series chips pretty well, and RV770 does use less power...
