That is some REALLY old news, saw that around 3 years ago in one of my old popular science mags...

BTW 3 years ago the price was around $100, and it still is, far off of $10...

However, this could be a mistranslation, because transcripts of the speech, in which it was unveiled, mentioned it costing $10 (£7) but this was later corrected to $100 (£70).

Probably won't be much more than one of those toy laptops you buy for your 3 year old. Still, it's an introduction and can be used effectively.

I read it in the newspaper yesterday. 2Gbs of 'memory' (That could mean anything) and wifi connectivity.
