Default Ready to learn

What's up tech forums. I am not a complete norom when it comes to computers, but there is much for me to learn.

Quick intro: I run a college bookstore, and am getting to the point where I need to know more about security, networking and new technology. I had a scare earlier tonight and got an email saying my company's bank account lost a substantial amount of money- it looks like it was a fake- but I'd like to learn how to protect myself from this actually happening. Coincidentally I had already registered for this site earlier in the day for the purpose of learning about servers and secure networking.

I'll be exploring and asking some questions, but nice to meet everyone and hopefully I will get some good info from you guys and girls!
