Default Newb needing direction

Hello to whom may read this. I am new to Tech Forum. I currently took an interest in PHP MYsql to build a website. I have previous knowledge in HTML, java script and CSS. Unfortunately I do not know much about computers itself. I'd say I'm further up the road in knowledge then the average Joe, but not too much haha. I have taken an interest in learning computers. From the actual hardware and building of a computer, to script programs. The thing is, where do I start!?!? I've skimmed through here and notice that everyone is VERY helpful. Any tips or pointers to get started in the world of computers would be great! Pretend as if I've never seen a computer before, and let's go from there . I hope to contribute as much as possible, in return for help. Thank you again for reading this thread. Moderators, go ahead and put this in /b/ or delete, I would just like to know where to begin on my new adventures !

So I started looking around the web for some basics in computers: anyone has an opinion on this site, I would like to hear from you!
