Hi! I'm new to the forum but certainly not new to technology.
I started working as an Electronics Tech in 1972 but switched careers around the time I got my first PC in 1984. I quickly outgrew that and built my first PC in 1985.
I've worked as a programmer/software engineer for more than 25 years and currently work as a Sr SE at a large software company in the Silicon Valley of Calif.
Been married for 37 yrs and have 4 adult kids, all currently attending college.
In addition to the myriad of desktop and laptop computers I use on a daily basis, I also have a collection of vintage computers (mostly IBM stuff from the 80's although my oldest is a TRS-80 Model 1 circa 1979). I also enjoy traveling with my family with our RV.
I hope to become a valued member of this forum.
