Hello all,

Just wanted to post a quick thread to say hello and introduce myself here on the forum.

I started off primarily as a computer "user" back in the days when a PC meant a big beige box with an amber screen running DOS. Then over the years graduated to Windows (3.11, 95, 98 XP), and in recent years have moved across to Mac. As the years progressed I've also moved on from being simply a user to become more of a tinkerer and tech guy for family, friends and then work as well.

I've now decided to make the jump and join a forum so that I can contribute back to the community, as well as pick everyone else's brain as I start playing with Win7 and linux.
