Default New here

Just joined a couple days ago and never stopped here to introduce myself.
French canadian of 40 working in the avionics environment. I've worked and still am working with older technology (VAXVMS 4.5, IEEE 1553, Manchester coding, ATLAS language etc... to name a few).
I've had computers since my first Timex Sinclair build it yourself kit in the early 1980's (this might ring a bell to older folks:bald: )
My hobbies include gaming (that doesn't make my wife very happy) so I try and get the max out of my old machine to play the latest games without having to upgrade every time. I just upgraded my system and waiting for my parts to come in. I'll then be set for a few more years (I hope).

My new machine will be:
P4 2.8 GHz 800 FSB
Intel Mobo with 865 PE chipset
2X 512 M DDR400 PC 3200 RAM
Seagate Barracuda 80G HDD SATA

Since I just upgraded my video card last summer, I'm keeping it (ATI RADEON 9600 PRO)

My gaming machine:

P4 2.8 GHz
2 X 512 MHz PC3200 in dual DDR mode
integrated 6.1 MAX audio
Logitech duo MX mouse and KB
