Service pack 1, Windows 7 starter .

Processor: intel pentium 4 CPU 3.00 GHz 2.99 GHz


Installed memory: 512 MB (502 MB usable)


System type: 32-bit Operating System

Your computer is about 7 years old and out of date. How did you even get Windows 7 to install when your system RAM is less than what is required to install the OS to begin with....

We have a whole area and topic in regards to AV protection. MSE is going to be my vote but others have their own opinion.

I've had 7 running on machines with 512mb RAM and less. It'll run, albeit not very smoothly and without Aero.

did you ever find good virus protection? i need it too and am not sure where to begin besides searching the forum.

I use Microsoft's Security Essentials and some common sense. So far, so good.

I installed windows 7 on an old IBM laptop 256 mb ram if I remember
Minimum spec doesn't actually mean much, they always say more than you need
And the answer the your question is no, your pc isn't good
Okay for Facebook and YouTube, but that's about it I'm afraid
