Question HOME STUDIO {TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES} HELPPPPP!

HEY HI.. IM A MR.POWER PRODUCER OF POWERPLANT PROD AND TRUEALLYANCE RECORDS SETTING UP MY HOME STUDIO BIT BY BIT.. I JUST BUILT MY BOOTH MINUS THE WALLS(COMING SOON) AND UPGRADED OR TRYING TO RATHER FROM AN USB DYNAMIC MIC TO AN E835 SENNHEISER VOCAL MICROPHONE.. BIG UPGRADE FOR ME AT LEAST.. NOW I HAVE THE PROPER CORD TO CONNECT MIC TO INPUTS YET IT DOES FIT IN MY M-AUDIO AUDIO BOX.. CLEARLY SEPARATE FUNCTIONS.. ANY AND ALL SUGGESTIONS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED FROM THIS POINT FORWARD.. wHAT AM I MISSING..?

Welcome to tech-forums! Please create a new thread in the hardware troubleshooting area, you'll be likely to get more help there.
Also, the button to the left of the 'A' key is called caps lock. Doesn't need to be on all the time
