Default hi am a noob looking for knowleage

basiclly my experience with computers have been very limited, until now that I found my self interested in computer gaming, now am try to build a computer, but I lack of the basic knowlage to do so...

I have a question regarding FSB speed or frequency . If anybody can help me Il be very thankfull. The question is basicly how important it is that the fbs of the motherboard/procesor matches the FSB of the ram? the reason I asked is because I have a procesor that has 1066 MHz of fbs
And am geting a motherboard that supports 1333 overclocking it and 1066 normal, an I was planning to get a ram memory of 1333. Is this configuration posible? Will it burst in flames?

thanx and again nice to meet you all.

Welcome to the forums. I recommend that you post your technical question in the respective subforum, if you haven't already, because this subforum is just for introductions and welcomes.
