Default hi

i'm currently building my first computer. the motherboard i have is an XFX X58i, the cpu is an i7 920 and the gpu is a GT220.

i've put it all together and now i can't get it to boot, and i feel i'm doing something very obviously wrong for some reason, and at this moment in time i think it maybe the memory. i've posted my question on whether the memory i have is compatible with the motherboard in the hardware troubleshooting forum.

as to properly introduce my self, i'm in my 20's (won't say exactly how old because i'm paranoid about privacy), i like painting, cycling, and playing pc games, and it is this that has made me want to make my own pc.

you're very patient if you made it this far into reading this and i'd like to say thank you to you.....

....thank you!
