Greetings Tech Forums! Help educate me.

Hello, I have lurked here in the past, but never joined until today. The main reason I joined is because I need a new computer and want to get the most for my money. I am somewhat computer literate and pretty mechanical. I know this forums has all the support I will need to pull off my first build. I will make another post with some questions about how I should proceed.
