Just a quick note to intro myself. I'm in the U.S., I've been formally addicted to technology since 1998 and spend way too much time learning new stuff, whether it's hardware, software, or programming related.
I used to be a Tech consultant for home users, but ONE lady ruined it for me when I ended up at her house 7 times in one month to restore her system because she had an obsession with going into her Windows folder and deleting things she thought she didn't need!!!!! She was an older person and I think she was just lonely and enjoyed the company but it was taking over my life!! and it was just the straw that broke the camel's back; made me realize that I didn't have the patience for "ignorance" when it came to people and that I was better off working in another area of technology that didn't involve direct contact with humans.....
So I became a Web Designer!!! and how I"m very "out of the loop" on hardware and hope I'll learn something here
