Default Good to be a member.

Hello everyone,

Glad to be here.
Just a little about me,

I am a novice hands on tech in the networking area. I am trying to get my feet in the door somewhere. I have a BSIT degree in Database Management, but no experience at all other than building/repairing PCs, and a 5yr old MCP certification. I have been working as a production technician for the last several years and have not kept up to date with IT or my major studies (my fault), but now wish to change my career into IT. I guess I'm here for advice on how to do this and get technical answers to many of my questions now and in the future.
One of my questions now is: what are cross connects and how would I use them to hook up a network of about 35 computers? The network and voice "drops" are already installed.

Thanks so much,
kazzy

Hello and Welcome to the forums

This is a general introduction area and does not get a lot of traffic. You would be better served to start a new thread in Computer Networking & Internet Access - Computer Forums

Again Welcome to the forums.
