Default DVD hard drives.

Firstly, I am a complete techno dummie.

Is it possible to store your dvd's onto a hard drive of some sort that is connected to your tv?

I watch a lot of different tv box sets and i'm tired of having to switch discs all the time when I just want to watch an episode of each show. there must be an easier way.

advice off any experts out there is much appreciated.

There are lots of programs that allow you to do it,
but i do believe that copying DVDs onto hard drives or any other media, is illegal. thats why DVDs are copy protected. and because what your asking is not legal, its very unlikely someone will help you here.

Well I guess technically Handbrake does not circumvent the copy protection on a DVD so that's fair game. lol.
