Default Curious Newbie

Hi everyone I'm new here with a few questions. I've been thinking of ordering a raspberry pi 3. What has particularly sparked my interest is the internet. I'd like to access the onion router and also i2p. I have a few questions on how though. I'd like to be able to browse anonymously. The wifi connection I have is a moble hotspot. And I'm not sure how it would work without a router.
