Hi! I'm Steve, and I'm a techie by hobby and eventually by profession. I'm currently studying up to get an A+ certification to start things off, on top of college work.
Next, I'm secondarily a musician. I was thinking about majoring in that for years, but decided to go the techie path instead for financial reasons. I do fully intend to become a professional recording artist in the next few years - it just won't be my main occupation.
I'm also a gamer, purely by hobby. I don't play now as much as I used to, but I have a good selection of games. I'm primarily a PC gamer, playing very few console games these days.
As for my PC, here is a quick rundown of its specs:
Intel core i7,
8GB RAM,
1GB Nvidia GeForce,
750GB 7200RPM Hybrid Drive.
Main OS: Still Windows 7, but I do have a legal copy of 8 I use through VMware. I eventually want to get more RAM so I can make better use of this.
I signed up here on these forums since I wanted to have a good techie forum to post on. I'm sure I'll learn a few things while I'm here.
