Default About to make a leap

I'm about to join the army as a signal support systems specialist. A lot of my duties will include working with and maintaining battlefield support systems and terminal devices...which I think is the army's way of putting a minimal classification on a wide array of tasks The degree associated with my MOS is a Bachelor's of Science in Information Systems Management, which I cannot wait to start working on. So I figure the best way to get a heads up on technology is to join a forum and start reading and asking questions. Here I am.
