NetScan is a simple network scanner with the ability to query WMI on Windows Machines in order to access advanced inventory information.
The program functionality is straightforward, simply enter an IP range, select whether you would like to use the credentials in the user list or the current user's credentials, and hit scan.
NetScan will check each host within the specified range, and report any information it can retrieve. To view more detailed information for a host, simply double-click the item in the list of scanned systems.
To export data as an apostrophe-delimited text file, right-click on the main display area, or select Export List from the File menu. You can export the entire list, or a selection of your choosing.
It is recommended that you utilize the user list functionality provided with the program by adding users via the Options panel. All user names and passwords are stored in an encrypted file along with the application.
