Move Window Controls To The Left

The maximize, minimize and close controls are located on the right side of each window title in the Windows operating system. While that might be a convenient location after working for years that way. There is not really much information available why the controls have been put on the right side of the windows though and some users might feel that placing it on the left side of the window is the more natural location for the controls.
If you are one of those users or simply want to shock your brain by switching the controls from right to left then you might want to consider running the small application Leftsider. It is a portable application that moves the window controls maximize, minimize and close from the right to the left side. It is however only doing that for generic windows like Windows Explorer windows. Applications like Firefox or Thunderbird keep the original layout of the window controls.
The software is compatible with 32-bit of Windows XP and Windows Vista and has a size of less than 120 Kilobytes. It uses only 750 Kilobytes of computer memory while running.

The use of the software program is somewhat diminished by the fact that it is not working on all windows.
