Source Manage Firefox Web Browser Form History
There are basically two ways of clearing the form history in the Firefox web browser. The first is to clear it completely either manually in the Firefox options or automatically on exit. The second works only on the website the data has been entered but allows to delete items selectively. Entering at least one char in the form will display results that are stored in the form history. Moving over one of the entries without selecting it and pressing the delete key on the keyboard will delete that entry from the web browser's form history.
While this might work in some cases it is obviously not the best way of managing form history data. The Firefox add-in Form History Control changes that by offering options to manage the form history of the web browser effectively.
