Including the registry in the roaming profile size calculation
By default, the NTUser.dat and NTUser.dat.log files that make up the HKEY_CURRENT_USER hive are not included in profile size calculations, as they should never be deleted. When the roaming profile grows too large (see Setting the maximum roaming profile size), the user is presented with a list of files that make up their roaming profile and prevented from logging off until the profile size has been reduced below the set limit. This registry entry controls whether the registry files themselves are included in the size calculation and included in the list of files.
To include the registry in the roaming profile size calculation:

Use a registry editing tool to navigate to the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System

Insert a value with the following details:
Data Type: DWORD
Value Name: IncludeRegInProQuota
Value: 1

Reboot your machine for the change to take effect
