hi, is me again.

Below factor MIGHT slowdown your "bootup"

assuming your Post,
displaying motherboard module and follow by,
video card,
memory,
hard disk,
cd-rom,
cd-wr,
sound card,
bios-logo,
boot sequence, (A,C,CD-ROM),

Tips:
Highly recommend.
1. in cmos change boot sequence to ( c only).
2. do not convert to ntfs. retain fat32 if you worry about security, install firewall.
3. do not partition your harddisk.
4. do not install any programs(system requirement) that exceed your "computer speed"
5. disable bios-logo if take more than 5sec to display.

Tips:
Optional.
5. hard disk 7200rmp or better.
6. better motherboard.
7. non-ecc ram or bigger ram.

best regard.
donkeykong.

something a lil usefull also. go to msconfig, in serives, click hide all ms services. and disable all, except if there are some u need. then in startup, u can disable all of them, unless tehre are some u wish to keep
