The tool is displaying the S.M.A.R.T. attributes in a list in the main interface. The information are updated regularly. The default value is every 10 minutes but it can be changed from 1 to 60 minutes. It obviously can also be disabled.
An interesting feature of Crystal Disk Info is the ability to control change the Automatic Acoustic Management (AAM) and Advanced Power Management (APM) settings of hard drives that support the feature
Sliders can be used to change the Automatic Acoustic Management between Silent and Performance and the Advanced Power Management between Minimal Power and Performance.
