Google Sets is a Google Labs application that aids users in finding sets of items from a few examples that they provide. This can be a useful feature to explore a subject in greater detail and to find additional related terms. A mundane example would be to enter Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 as the example items. The set that is returned after entering these three terms will consist of other Microsoft operating systems mainly but also other related terms such as Linux or software.
Up to five examples can be entered by the user to define the topic of the set. A few examples are provided on the website including colors, newspapers, movies, locations and many more.
